Before, Star Wheel introduced to you that when the high-speed electric spindle is working, the built-in motor and the rolling bearing will generate a lot of heat during the rotation process. Because the electric spindle is compact, the gap is small, and the spontaneous heat dissipation effect is weak. If it is not distributed in time, it will cause different degrees of thermal expansion between the internal parts of the electric spindle, which will affect the performance parameters such as the stiffness and machining accuracy of the electric spindle, and will seriously affect the service life of the spindle. In this regard, Star Wheel will introduce two cooling methods for everyone.
For the overall cooling of the electric spindle, there are usually two methods of liquid cooling and forced air cooling.
(1) Liquid cooling means that the cooling water circulation is designed inside the electric main shaft, and a corresponding cooling machine is arranged outside, so that the cooling liquid circulates the internal heat inside the main shaft. The advantages of this cooling method are simple and reliable, and the cooling effect is more obvious. The disadvantage is that the cooling effect on the spindle core is relatively poor, and the cost of the cooling machine is relatively high.
(2) Air forced cooling means that a forced convection channel is designed between the housing of the electric spindle and the motor stator. The heat generated by the motor enters the forced convection zone through heat conduction, and finally the heat is brought into the air to realize the electric spindle. Constant temperature work. Forced cooling of the air is pollution-free. If a static pressure gas bearing is used, the gas of the static pressure gas bearing can be circulated inside the main shaft to take away some of the heat of the motor.
It is necessary to cool and cool the electric spindle, especially in high temperature weather. If you find that the electric spindle is overheated during the application process, you should consider whether to take heat dissipation measures. Do not let the electric spindle overheat. Operation, which in turn affects the service life.
